I have done some searching around the site and have not yet found a similar situation to mine.

My HT setup is nearly complete, however I cannot use my remote to display final speaker setup on my LCD TV.

The receiver is a Marantz SR5200 with the original model (although not original as the 1st one failed) remote control.

The television is a Samsung 1080P model LN52A650A1F.

I have programmed the remote to the TV but only certain functions are accessible. For instance if I press TV+Menu, the screen shows the television's own menu - not the amp's menu.

I have changed out the batteries as a preliminary step to no avail.

Is anyone familiar with this type of issue?
