This is a diagram of my room. I'm about to start with electronic equalization via the Neptune Audio Room EQ but I'm looking for advice on room treatments for bass traps and reflection points. My speakers are dipoles L/R/LR/RR with an enclosed center speaker that sits on top of a Genelec 7073a. I posted some room curves under my XTZ thread.

I cant tell where your speakers will be going from your diagram. Which couch is the listening point?

Oops. Listening couch is the one directly across from the subwoofer against the long wall.
The drawing is not to scale. My center speaker is above the subwoofer. The couch on the left wall takes up most of that short wall and the L/R speakers are in the corners of the room on either side of the sub. The surround speakers are within 2 feet of the back couch facing the listener. This diagram will not format properly in the AVS reply box.

Sidewall couch is several feet from front wall and front speaker is on one side.
Surround speakers are two feet from the sides of the listening couch. I need to modify my drawing but I don't have access to the scanner.

I'm looking for advice on room treatments for bass traps and reflection points.

As always, bass traps work best in corners, though you'll also need absorption (or diffusion) on the rear wall of a small room when sitting so close to the wall behind you. Much more here:

Do I need to treat the corners where the dormer window is on the right side of the side wall or just the corners of the main part of the room? The corner in that alcove is 6 feet deeper than the room wall boundary.

All corners are potential location for bass traps. This includes the corners where the walls meet the floor and ceiling too. The more traps you have, the closer to flat you'll get. It's that simple.
