I entered this in the FP section, but perhaps this is the most approp area. I am looking to cut down on wall reflections to my screen and am considering that vertically ribbed (like corduroy) carpet-like material for the walls (black or dark red). It has a commercial look to it and in fact, I have seen it on the walls of a few commercial movie theaters. I got a sample of it and compared it to a flat black paint sample. In shadow, both looked about the same, but when I put significant light to it (room light, and then a flashlight beam) the wall covering sample (black) looked SIGNIFICANTLY blacker. Hmmm...can I stand my room to be that commercial looking ?:D
HAS any one had any experience with this kind of stuff or known others to utilize it? I wonder how much of a "pain" it would be to glue/tack/nail it up?
Any feedback would be appreciated !
