View Full Version : Best background noise elimination?

So here is the situation I have encountered, probably not uncommon. I have a TV in my living room and one on my den. They share a wall and the den has no door, but does have a wide door way.

What is the best way to eliminate the background noise from the respective tv's so we can enjoy both? Would it make sense to get a white noise machine for the den? Just trying to think of what makes the most sense since it is relatively open.

thanks!!

Soundproof the den and add a door. Or, If you cover the dens walls with acoustical treatment the amount of sound exiting the open doorway might diminish a tad.

Maybe, pick shows that you can watch together.
