I heard that for the first time today at the end of a TV ad for an upcoming home video release (The Proposal, I think, aired during Friday night's Law & Order episode). Maybe it's been noticed by folks in this forum before and discussed here (if so, I'm sorry--looked through the top couple hundred thread titles and didn't see anything); I was taken aback. Pitched on primetime network TV, the age of Internet distribution of theatrical release content is truly come :D.

Wow...cool. I haven't heard such ads yet, but I'm sure there will be more like that soon. I've also noticed that a lot of DVD releases now (or some anyway) are including BOTH Blu ray and DVD in the package. Disney even includes digital versions of some of their movies for those who want to put the movie on their PC or their MP3 player.

Even 10 years ago I'd have never dreamed of such a thing...technology is SO cool.

I had not heard that yet, but I expect it to become more common. Too much money in Digital Distribution (at a great margin) for them not to advertise it.
