I know this is most likely going to be some obvious answer but I feel like I have the wrong cable for hooking up my PSW10 to my new RX-V665 Yamaha...

Heres the back of the AVR:

Now i bought a Monster (dont worry... i paid a fraction of retail for it) Subwoofer cable with a splitter adapter to hook into the L/R of my PSW10... but either the connector itself is extremely tight fitting or its just not the right size male end for the female input on the AVR that reads "subwoofer 1"

Do i need to just push this thing harder into the AVR or do i have the wrong cable?:confused:

Monster cables are famous for being too tight. Some have even damaged their equipment when removing them. If you really have to force it on, I'd take it back and get something else.

Yea i figured out finally that the opposite end of the cable that i was trying to attach to the receiver was a little more loose... I just turned it around and plugged the tight one into the Y adapter and now it fits...

Thanks William.
