View Full Version : BH-200 Resolution Issue Tiga 10-12-09, 10:33 AM Is there a way to make my player stop defaulting to the Auto resolution setting? The problems is that the player is connected to an Infocus IN72 (480P) projector - through my Onkyo 606. The player must sense the IN72 and defaults to 480P resolution - unfortunately then it won't pass Dolby True HD sound to my receiver. I have to go in and manually adjust the resolution to 1080i and then everything is fine. Any thoughts? Thank you. Tiga sivartk 10-13-09, 10:03 AM Mine has been set on 720p for the better part of 2 years and hasn't switched to auto. (April 2008 firmware routing through a Onkyo TX-SR605 receiver for sound). Interesting that yours doesn't stick. Tiga 10-13-09, 12:41 PM Yeah it's bizarre. What resolution display are you connected to? If you have a 720 display that may be why. I was hoping there was some setting I'm missing and this was not some firmware update issue. I don't remember exactly which firmware I'm using but the one I'm using is playing everything I'm throwing at it so I'd hate to mess with it. I think the component to the receiver is your best option. IMHO at that resolution I think analog video is the best way to go. |
