Vizio power on/off and multiple input discrete remote control codes work


I can confirm that the vizio remote control discrete codes for power on, power off, hdmi 1 to 5, AV1 & 2, component 1 &2, all work on the 551.
AV3 in the link below (function 163) is "cable" on the 551.

I know this is an old post but I just bought a Vizio TV and am trying to get discrete codes for myHTM MX-500. I'll settle for On/Off but would love individual video inputs.

Your link no longer works on Remote Central. Seems like they got out of the "Discrete Code business" for some reason.

Yeah, sure.
Don't quote the whole post. Give some credit to Remote Central and assume they are still in the Discrete Code business. Put your mouse cursor over the posted link and look in the lower left of the browser window. Notice that the link is incomplete. So, back at Remote Central, try the Search Function.
