I live in an apartment and I want to wall mount my speakers. To clarify the size of the speakers I am planning on getting the Mirage NanoSat 5.1's. I wanted to know what type of speaker mounts I could use that would leave the smallest possible hole in the wall. From what I understand my landlord will allow small holes for hanging this etc., so the least amount of drilling I can do would be ideal. This way I could probably get authorization to do it.
I had found these online:

They look like what I am looking for but I do not want to tear up the wall. Has anyone had any experience installing these? Is the drilling minimal and most importantly do they work well?

The Nanosats already come with a bracket that uses one screw.

Nice I overlooked that.
Back to my original post, would the Sanus mounts I mentioned do the minimal damage that the NanoSat mounting bracket does? I would like to angle the speakers to get the optimal effect in my room.

Did you READ pages 3 & 20?
Yes, I read where it said that the speaker can be slightly angled by loosening the screw. However, I don't know if this option ill give me as much maneuverability that it need as purchasing the Sanus mounts that I linked earlier. I still would like to know if the Sanus mounts will require as little drilling as the NanoSat mounts do.

I highly doubt that you will need to angle them at all!!! I owned these myself and can honestly say that I highly doubt any difference would be noted. Take a better look at how they are designed as they are already at an angle. I suggest you get them in hand first before you go paying for something you won't really need. I am fairly sure you will be more than happy with the standard mounts.

So your saying that because of the "Omnipolar Technology" that the angle will not matter? If so that makes my life a lot easier. Also, what was your experience with the NanoSats?

I am saying that I truly highly doubt you will hear any difference due to the omni directional design. I know when I did my inital instal I left them loose just in case I didn't care for the mounting position as they were very close to my ceiling. Once I determined they were good there I tightened them up and can honestly say I heard no difference at all. They were and are great little speakers, the sound from them is huge for their size. They integrate fantastic with the sub, and I would highly recommend you use the 120hz crossover setting. They filled my room that is around 18x15x9.5 rather well, and sounded very good when in 5.1. Not my cup of tea for just a 2.1 set up, and obviously no good for a stereo set up. I sitll use two for the surround speakers and for the time being my center. Not the best for a center but they do the job well. I did have two of the woofers go bad on me. Not really sure what happened to them, one was stuck down while the other was just blown. Absolutely no issue getting them fixed, took them down to the dealer, dealer sent out for parts, changed out the woofers, handed them back and said enjoy. No questions asked! I highly recommend them to many who want 5.1 without spending a ton of money and need something small (for wife approval).
