Hello. I have a Samsung set which supports 1080i and 1080/60p, but not 1080/24p. What are my best options for a media player and/or service to connect with this TV? It seems as though most of the online services and devices support 1080/24p but not 1080/60p. Should I just buy a Blu-Ray player and forget about downloading movies? Thanks.

I use and am happy with a TiVo HD for streaming NetFlix to my TV. The online file determines the source resolution anyways. The vast majority of online movies and TV shows are 16:9 and 480i60. Some few are 480p60 and some are 720p60 or 1080i60.
I have a 120Hz Samsung that DOES support 24p, but I only ever get that video mode from my Blu-Ray player (PS3) or HD-DVD player (Toshiba HD-A30). All of the online content is 60Hz and I believe you will see just about what I see if you use a TiVo-HD and NetFlix for your download service - and that IS what I reccomend. I set my TiVo-HD for "passthrough" and it outputs the source resolution, I let the Samsung HDTV do all the video processing for display.
