E-great makes unreliable network tanks with crappy interfaces. Even if they made the best network tanks on the earth i wouldnt recommend them. Why? Because their support is NON EXISTENT. Ive sent this company literally half a dozen emails over the course of a MONTH, ive seen ONE response from them regarding the failure of my M34HD (it outputs no video). They asked me to do things i already said i tried and then said if that doesnt work my pcb board might need replacing. Well after that email came i shot them back a reply saying those solutions obviously dont work, and i need a new PCB, and now here i am a week later still without a response.

Avoid this company at all costs. Buy from a trusted company with actual support that is operated WITHIN the united states, meaning popcorn hour, seagate, or western digital.

I've actually gotten pretty good support from them.
I had a problem my PCB which needed replacement and I got very prompt replies.

Not sure which dealer you bought the unit from, or who/where you are trying to communicate with Egreat.

But I have had to help a couple of my customers get Warranty service after they screwed their units up by firmware flashing, and the support was very good: the turn around time was very fast on both occasions.

I would venture to say that I could try to help you. But I think your best bet would be to contact the dealer you bought it from and get them to help you. We usually have a very good rapport with the Egreat reps and and can help you get service very quickly.

It's cheaper and easier just to ship the PCB board back (it is easy to remove). Send it via a traceable method, and include a note with your return shipping address and the number located on the sticker on the bottom of the unit. You will usually get the unit back in about a week/ or less after Egreat receives it.

Hope that helps you a bit!
