I'm assuming the bulb just blew, but this is the first time i've had a project that i've used long enough for a bulb to go. I was watching a show, and pop, loud noise, picture went dead, and there was a slight burning smell. I turned it off right away, it was flashing a red light on it. I'm just waiting for it to cool down before putting in the replacement bulb. It was at about 2300 hours.

Any other ideas?

Sounds like the bulb to me.
