hello guys. i am sure this has been answered here somewhere, darned if i could find it.

i am thinking about getting some of the cheapo ebay foam for my walls and ceiling. to darken it up for my projector. (i don't want to spend $$$$ on this)

but idk if there is some kind of issue . maybe it sparkles up or something. so, if you have foam in your pj room, how well does it darken the room ? other issues ?

thanx

You can get 400 sq. ft. of 1 inch thick linacoustic for $150 or so. (one roll)

You can get GOM FR701 fabric in a dark color for $1 sq. ft.

Add some pine furring strips and you have acoustically treated walls covered with a durable fabric.
