The thread topic says it all. I want to buy a small, yet powerful vacuum cleaner for my new LCD projector.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian

Home Depot has an orange version of this for $19.95. Bring your own bucket.

Both of these are awesome little machines. Hose suction is a little better on the Eureka(Dirt Devil hose attaches over the main brush area) but the Dirt Devil is incredibly powerful for doing other things like carpets, sofas, etc. Both of them are great at doing small cleanup and getting around furniture as well. The Dirt Devil has pretty much replaced my upright around the household. Filters are good on both so that you're not blowing crap back into the air.

How about this one: http://www.amazon.com/iRobot-Roomba-Vacuum-Cleaning-Board-Scheduling/dp/B000WSSGLA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1255912664&sr=8-1

It even has on-board scheduling! Just leave it on top of your projector and let it do it's thing. ;)

I've had an earlier version of the one gallon Shopvac wet/dry vacuum for years and it really has a surprising strong suction. It is also annoyingly loud. It's $24 at Wallmart.

Hey William!

I plan on using the vacuum periodically to remove lingering dust and debris from the filter door area and intake vents.

I'm also hoping to use the vacuum when I remove the filter and clean it.

Regards,
Brian

I wouldn't suggest using a vacuum since they produce a static discharge. I fix computers and we use compressed air but you can also get a static free vacuum cleaner if you really want to suck the dust out as opposed to just blowing it out into the room

Thanks. Any suggestions for a static-free vacuum?:)

Wet wipes are a fine, static free, noiseless, easy to carry, vacuum!
