I am receiving only the HDTV channels that are in clear and have no box or cable card.
The other night I could not get several of the networks that are on 103.x.
The other channels are fine on 101.1 and 104.x.
My other TV in the kitchen still receives the 103.x channels.
I rescanned but it still did not find the channels. I have looked around thinking they may have moved but could not find them. This is a older Toshiba 42HP95 and you have to find the clear channels manually.
What could cause this?
Cableco's do regular maintenance and in some cases QAM channels get moved. Try a complete reset of your HDTV, and look again. You may have to look at each QAM channel individually.

I had forgotten to try a total reset of the TV. But that didn't help either.
I am beginning to think something is wrong with my tuner.
How are the signal levels going to the TV with problems, it may be a signal issue to that one TV.

Did you ever receive any 103.xx channels with the TV?
Have you tried bypassing any splitter you have installed to insure that your splitter is not blocking the 103.xx channels to your TV?

the 103's are working again but now I've lost ESPN and ESPN2.
It seems to be a changing problem. The other TV still gets all of the channels.
Maybe some kind of noise in the tuner that is drifting around?
I saw in another forum that someone had the same problem with the same TV.

If the 1st set gets channels the other doesn't, either the 2nd set is bad or your cabling/connections to the 2nd set are bad.

ESPN and ESPN-HD are not OTA channels so I would always expect them to be encrypted.
A cable provider has to pay ESPN over a $ per month for each subscriber.
