Hello All,
Trying to decide on antenna to get. Single story home. Just west of O'hare and some trees around the house.
TVFool report -
This site won't allow me to post a URL at the moment cause this is my first post to this group.
The zip code is 60007
I really have no objection to something on the roof as long as it's not to big. Seems like some of the sites I've gone to recommend indoor antennas for my location. Have been told by Antennas Direct ClearStream5, V10.
Also Wineguard site says SS-3000 and have also been recommended the HD1080
Kinda at a loss of what to get. Don't want to be constructing something myself. Interested in VHF/UHF. Don't think UHF is a problem but maybe VHF channels 7 and 12
This feed is for a MythTV backend running with a couple pcHDTV 5500 tuner cards.
I've had this tuner running off a tiny little telescoping 1 foot antenna(indoor) with remarkable digital results. Didn't get 7 or 12 but good reception on a clear day.
The cable run from the roof is about 50 feet.
Currently have Comcast but would like to see what OTA can do.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
