debating - panny 54" g10 or 58" s1?? - max budget is $1700 total all in out the door (or delivered if purch on-line)

there's about $165 net diff betw a 58" s1 vs a 54" g10 -
is g10 pic worth it or does the 4" screen size diff outweigh g vs s series features?

The S1 in custom mode ought to be pretty good. How far are you sitting?

I am currently looking for a 60-65" pdp. from my viewing, I was not impressed with the S1. The V10's looked decent, but owning a 9G elite, I think ANY current panny is just not going to cut it. I didn't get a look at a G10 (they don't make a 65" version), so my opinion isn't fully informed. I can say, I personally wouldn't be happy with an S1. I could live with a V10, so if the G10 is comparable, I could tolerate the PQ.

If you are like me, and PQ is very important, I would say get the G10. If you are not as critical about PQ, screen size would probably be the driving factor. If that is the case, get the S1
