saw this yesterday and wasn't sure if it's even worth it to go for or not.

Just figure in the cost of a new lamp (~$250) plus the starting price.
Looks kinda scrached up, I'd wonder about how it was taken car of (or NOT for that matter.)
...wonder how they tested it working....
That said, I bought my VW60 off ebay and I have had issues but thankfully mine was purchased as "new" so Sony covered repairs.
Looks like a crap-shoot to me...

it's more than scratched up, there's a chunk missing out of one corner:eek:
could have been dropped, at the very least it was hit pretty hard. I wouldn't go near it...

Based on that picture I wouldn't touch it with a 10' pole. No projector that is put into a theater should ever have that kind of physical wear on it. I'd bet that was used as a portable which means who knows how well it works.
I vote it was used for a game of dodgeball... As the ball!

after posting this i then ended up thinking, with a corner smashed like that someone obviously isn't fit for owning a projector such as this. Must have been retarded and dropped it hard onto cement or something. the insides would definitely have damage. maybe he had a wife who was pissed off at him and took the first thing he loved and took her aggression out on it. wham. lol

I would love to know the story on it for sure...would be entertaining no doubt.
