I just bought a Sony STR-DH800 receiver, but when i connect it with my Sony DVP-NS92V via the coax its only in 2 channel stereo PCM. But if I use the HDMI it is in 5,1 channel.

Can anyone please help me?

Sounds like a setup issue on the DVD player. You should be able to bitstream DD and DTS via S/PDIF (coax and optical).
