Hey guy looking to possibly purchase a remote for my setup. I will have my components in a closet (obviously behind a door and a wall) and was wondering what exactly I need to convert the RF signal to an IR? Looking to spend around $100-175 Tops (just on the remote). I will only have a receiver (Denon), a Pioneer Blu-Ray player, a DirecTV HD Receiver and maybe a CD/Ipod player. Any suggestions?

The URC RFS200 bundle ( RF20 remote with MRF100 base ) can be had for well under $100.

They are blocking a ton of internet sites at work right now :( so can't link to it, but if you go to monoprice and search for IR repeater then you will find a $20 option. It basically sends IR to IR over wireless.
My son managed to kill my first unit before I tested it, but if you give me another day or so I can test the second unit they just sent me. I have the HT in one room and all the equipment is two walls away (wall - 16 inches space then another wall). Just drywall, no concrete - not sure what is blocking your signal.
Now your DirectTV box and remote probably does RF (mine does)
OK got the monoprice solution up and "running". Not the best thing out there between walls that is for sure. Going to play with it a bit more, but for my situation it is a temporary solution and not permanent. Waiting on a specific product announcement that should be coming shortly (don't know the specifics except it might help my situation) before I commit to something else.
