Few questions:
Are there any Media Server devices that are capable to play play mp3+G karaoke songs? I currently own WDTV and its a feature that I'd like to request. Are there any 3rd party firmwares to enable such a feature? How difficult is it to implement such a feature and where to request it?

There may be others but the original xbox with XBMC does karoake discs and rips very well....

Sean, does the xbox play mp3+G files off the Hard drive or just CDG karaoke disks?

download the current windows version and try it. Sorry I dont have any mp3+g files so I can't comment......
