I just had a heads-up from the lead tech at Comcast Tucson. Our TVGOS data is scheduled to go away beginning tonight 10/22/09.
He said that the Rovi/PBS agreement has not been renewed and they are changing how they feed COX/Comcast over at PBS.
It seems they don't have the ability or desire to provide the TVGOS over the new digital feed they are implementing tonight so it will cease.
I guess the best way to light a fire is to start hounding Rovi but I don't have a good contact there, yet.
Looking at the most recent Rovi data here: http://digitaltransition.macrovision.com/digtrans.aspx
it indicates that both Digital and Analog TVGOS data is available. That will change tonight.

I'm also having problems with my Pioneer plasma receiving TVGOS data. When I called customer service she claimed he knew what TVGOS was and told me that they were NOT blocking this signal. Who is the lead tech, I'd like to speak to him/her.
