What the hell do you mean by "compressed"?

I know Future is one of the best looking PS3 titles, especially since it runs at 60fps.

Downloaded the R&C demo last night. Going to check it out when I get home from work today. I've never been into this series. No reason really...just haven't owned one of the games. Is it similar to Jak & Daxter? I had one of those games on PS2 and enjoyed it a lot!

Looks like it could also be a game my wife might enjoy.

I just beat the (1st) demo twice... I like the new Portal-like puzzles for Clank. It'll really add some variety to the fighting and flying sequences.

If you are new to the series, you should really get the $10 dload of R&C:QfB. It is a better representation of what the series is all about since this Clank demo's gameplay is unique specifically to this new game.

when i check the walls of rachet and clank 2. it looks like compressed graphics. like a video is badly compressed and you see tiny blocks. it runs very smooth though.

and i dont need to sue imsoniac. however i did win my case with sony 2 months ago. however since most of you were such pricks about it. i wont put any new info on this forum. you go fight your own battles and just be happy getting shafted when your console is broke for no reason and take it up in the ass.

i can tell you though.

i know why my ps3 broke down
i know why it happened with call of duty 5 too.

i was also very happy how sony helped me in the end. i am sure that kind of service, you will not normally get when sending in your broke ps3, but rest assured i got much more from it then i thought would be orginally possible.

I have to admit, i am a little jealous over GH5 having Lay It On The Line by Triumph and Born To Run. Other than that, meh.

I love how downloadable psp games cost just as much as disc-games. Shouldnt they be cheaper? Actually they are more expensive because with disc games stores can offer say a $39.99 game for $36.99 ala amazon.com.

That $9.99 LIVE SEASON 2.0 for fifa is lame. It should be free. I hate games leaving features out to sell them as content later on. I dont mind updating/add-ons like new maps etc, but when the feature is in the damn disc and you are charging me $9.99 to unlock it after I just paid $59.99 for the game? WTF

Most of those reading these threads don't expect to see it that way and it usually causes confusion. I think it's mostly become a joke now each time he updates it since it's happened so often (I know I questioned it the first time I opened up one of his threads).

Much of the world's English speaking population isn't used to seeing date abbreviations in little endian form. It's almost nonexistent in the United States and uncommon through much of Canada. It's only standard in the United Kingdom and Australia (Did I miss any other significant English speaking nations?).

Edit - Forgot about the Republic of Ireland and of course it's a major language in India, both regions use the dd-mm-yyyy format too (Though yyyy-mm-dd appears to also be common in India).

Also in Singapore (which is my birth country) and most countries in the Far East.

It's the same thing as having advertising in games will make them cheaper. Not gonna happen. All the money saved on shipping and boxes goes into the company pockets, not to the customer.

Oh yea, EA is the king of locking stuff on the disc and selling it to you later. Madden 10 has the AFL Legacy pack, only a 108kb download. Your FIFA season in only 110kb. Downloads that small are unlock keys for content already on your disc. I don't own either game and it makes me mad.

For Live Season, you're buying the subscription that constantly updates the data. Whether or not that makes a difference, I dunno.

Ratchet & Clank demo was fun.

Critter Crunch demo was fun.

Dragon Ball demo was not. The previous game was much better. It seems that they are trying to pull of a fighting game like the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm game, but it was very poor execution. The fighting wasn't as fluid
