Recently got a free KP-43HT20. Love it!! The flash focus button helped a bit, however it still doesn't seem very, crisp.

It's not a convergence issue, more like its sharpness is turned down too much. At any setting, even "Pro".

I would also like to know some basic details about the TV, so if anyone has the service manual, please let me know :)

Anyone know how to get into the service menu?

I am guessing this isn't a popular TV?

I ordered a new tuner online, a 1-771-787-13. When it comes in, I am going to completely clean everything in sight! Hopefully just a basic cleaning will help.

Anyone know how to adjust any settings on this set? I really don't want to have to spend any more money on this TV.

The flash focus works pretty good but you need to manually go in and adjust the convergence for best results.

Also since this is a Crt REAR PROJ. TV it probably needs the optics cleaned.

You take the front screen off and look at the lenses and mirror I would bet they are dirty. DO NOT clean with an ammonia based product!

Anyone else own one of these? I am wondering how well it handles a HTPC via S-Video.
