hope i am in the right area
i have a bell expressvu 5900 and trying to run it with a atlas 1055 remote
not having luck
the exact numbers for the remote is atlas dvr-(day) 1055
if anyone has tried this e-mail or catch on forum

It has to be IR, and set unit code #1, for any preprorammed remote to control it. Then try the Dish codes, like 0775.

There are 4 different version of the Atlas 1055 DVR (day) remote. Two of them have setup codes for Dish and the other two do not.

So, make sure that your remote blinks twice when you enter 0775 (or the sister codes 1170 and 1775, which you shouldn't need if you have followed Edmund's instuctions). If it doesn't blink twice, make sure your procedure is correct, and then, if it still doesn't blink twice......your particular remote isn't going to work.
