I just got the new Samsung 58" Plasma and then ordered a wall kit that will allow it to hang only .3 inches from the wall. That's the look I'm trying to get. I also ordered a product from Powerbridge (powerbridgesolution.com) to hide the cords and wires inside the wall. My biggest concern is that the plug on the TV extends 2" after its plugged in. I doubt the Powerbridge can handle a plug that size and still allow me to mount the TV .3 inches from the wall. At least not vertically! As a matter of fact, I cant find any recess on the market to hold a plug that size.

If the plug doesn't recess far enough the only solution I can think of is to build a wall recess and put the Powerbridge in that recess. Any other ideas?

Could you install something like this:

Or better yet (but not cheap) you can surge protect your TV with this:

the powerbridgesolution outlet are recessed. So you should have enough clearance.

you could also try this if the power bridge does not work out

Just get a regular flat mount and then that extra 1/2 inch of clearance is enough to let you plug in the TV, make sure your recessed outelt has enough space as the samsung plasmas have a bent power plug, ie one that does not come straight off the wall but goes in like a flat plug, personally the samsung wire mount is not worth the hassle.
