Hi guys

I want to connect my ps3 to my home theater setup, I have a yamaha rx-v2400 a/v receiver (no hdmi) and an espon powerlite cinema 200+ projector (non hdmi). I've bought all the cables necessary for this connection, I used the special component a/v cable for the ps3 with one end into the ps3 and connected the other 5 ends into the receiver, 3 (RGB) went into the dvd input area at the back of the receiver and 2 for the audio, I also connected an optical digital cable between the two. When I swithched them on I don't get any picture or sound.
Short of upgrading everything to HDMI is there anybody out there who could help.

Did you go into your audio/video set-up mode in the ps3 and check the right choices for your set-up?

As t wrote: check the right choices for your set-up

Also make sure you've got the right red for video and not for audio - this is why they should go back to black and white for audio...
