I think the replacement was a Kuru or something off ebay. Sometimes the PJ fires right up, sometimes it takes three tries. When it doesn't fire up the lamp light flash's....

Out of warranty Optoma facility in Milpitas Ca says its not the light engine main board they replaced, they said its the new bulb i got off ebay...

So what bulb does Optoma use in their old HD79's....a Philips maybe... I tossed the old one out , I thought bulbs were bulbs....who knew
