I purchased an HDTV for my dads birthday and for the last 2 weeks it has been nothing but trouble with his Dish Network for him. I live about 90 miles away so its hard to just swing by and fix the problem so this is a second hand recount of what is going on.
Every single time the television is turned off it seems to reset the signals for the cable remotes. So my dad has to reprogram them each time he uses the tv, if the remotes are reset he cant change the channels or even watch it, all that is shown is the dish logo.
It is like the remotes are fighting for a signal, and having them do that screws it up the programming for Dish network.
Sorry if this sounds a bit vague, I have not personally seen this occur and just going by what my dad has been saying.
