Could anyone tell me why it's possible to back up a blu ray movie, but when it comes to PS3 games it's not possible. A little background; I'm not quite sure how I got to this point but for some reason I wanted to get the media server aspect going on the PS3. After getting a router and everything wired, I spent days (many hours of reading posts) trying to get the server up and running. In the process of doing that I ran across a thread about streaming blu ray thru the server, which seemed pretty cool to me. I've got a couple PS3's, my daughter has one; it would be kind of neat being able to stream a movie to all 3 tv's. To do this I had to get a blu ray reader which led to why not back up the movies I have now. One thing led to another until I got to why not back up my games. What started out as one thing has led to something else, but I've learned a lot in the process which I find to be quite stimulating mindwise.
Anyway I'm having a hard time understanding why you can't back games up when you can back up the movies. What is preventing this from happening? Thanks to all ahead of time!
