I would like to share my "man cave" with you all - heaps of inspiration from this forum.
I have a 6m x 12 m garage ( shed ) and for years it was used for storage and gym. Once I decided I wanted to convert it to a usable space ( man cave ) I read everything I could about bar construction as buying a completed bar in Australia is very expensive and scarce. So complete with my tool box ( read screwdriver, hammer & duct tape ) I decided to tackle the project myself.
I paid for some bar plans off the web but found that seeing what you guys had done and the fantastic build threads - I didn't use them.
I first cleaned out all the junk - had a ceiling & insulation installed and the entire shed re-wired ( new cabling / powerpoints / lights etc ) even a dartboard light.
I laid down a 2 part epoxy resin floor - to give it that car showroom look - the result was fantastic.

I purchased kitchen cabinets from Bunnings ( same as Home Depot) and used 2x4's to construct a frame around them. It is an L-shaped bar - 2.7m long. I even used the same for the back bartop. MDF was used to skin the bar.

I used mini-orb ( galv ripple sheet) on the bar front as I wanted a "rustic" feel to the bar. I stained the entire bar in Japan Black stain - finished product appears black but you can still see the grain.
The top ( on my side of the bar ) is just stained 2x4's which I ran pvc coated galv wire along the joins ( for a different affect ) and then sealed 4 times.
All timber was stained and then sealed to give it a nice gloss finish.

It is a pretty basic build but as I am the original "Tim the Toolman" I am proud of it. Everything ( well almost ) is square and it is very solid.
My brother is a signwriter so I had him make me a one-piece vinyl sticker for the bar top - beer labels of the world - including DUFF from the Simpsons.
I opted for a full size fridge - originally I was going to build in a mini fridge underneath - but us Aussies have a reputation for enjoying a beer or 2 and I didn't want to be refilling it every few hours!
So here are the completed pics - enjoy!!

That looks pretty cool. How did you do the top? Where'd you get the graphics from?

I gave my brother all the labels I wanted and he got them off the internet in high res.
How do i post my pics in the actual thread - rather than an attachment?

You've got to have them hosted somewhere. I use Image Shack (http://imageshack.us/). It's free and pretty easy to use. On image shack, it will give you the different links to use for using the images different ways. You want to use the "Direct" link. Copy that link, then come to your post and hit the square button with the mountain on it and the yellow sky. Paste your link and hit OK.

I would go back and try it out with the images you already posted...it's a lot nicer to look through a post when they are embedded.

I then finished with 50mm wide rubber strip ( 5mm thick ) around the entire bartop edge. I originally wanted to used brushed aluminium but as I have rounded corners it wasnt flexible enough. The black rubber strip looks good ( hides the ropelight underneath the front bar top ) and gives good protection to bar & patron. I just nailed it on and it helps with the rustic feel I was going for.
The vinyl top has a protective coating so no need to seal coat - it just washes up with a sponge.

I also have a weight room / gym at the back of the garage:
