I have just mounted my speakers to the walls. How do you have your speakers wired to the wall plates? Pictures would be great.

I have the wire coming out of the wall directly behind the bracket. That way you don't see the hole. (Sorry no pictures available right now.)

Is the bracket hidden too? It appears that the speaker is 'floating' on the wall right?

Oh and do you have plugs into the wall plate or just the bare wire?

I got lucky with my wall mounted speakers.

What is behind the speaker is a plastic electrical box. The mount for the speaker matched up perfectly with the screws for the electrical box. I then drilled holes in the mount and the speaker back plate and ran the wires through the holes. Very nice and clean looking IMHO. Hope this helps.

This cover hooks to a regular electrical box. Then I use a short peice of speaker wire to connect the speaker to the wall plate. The photo shows a banana clip but I ended up not using them cause I wanted the speaker to set flush against the wall.

My brackets aren't hidden, they are similiar to the picture posted by RTROSE. However, I didn't mount to the electrical box. I used toggle bolts to hold the small speakers to the wall.

If you truly want the hidden speaker look, you'll have to go with inwalls.
