The convergence ICs either failed or a solder connection came undone. If there's a component failure a resistor may be included. A local tech can correct the problem. This is also a DIY job for the adventuresome, if you're familiar with component soldering and basic electronics troubleshooting.

Mr. Bob, another calibrator that frequents this forum would have more advice for you as he owns this same display, though I don't know the model year of his set.

Yes that's a good guess. I hope you can swing the repair fee as your set is worth keeping. Depending on your area there may be a calibrator out there who would/could also do the work.
