I just bought an electronic master 5000hd tuner (bought from Canada) and I'm noticing a problem in the channels with 720p native output (Fox, ABC, ION). When movies or serials are being played the picture stutters (a few milliseconds) every 1-2 seconds. It does not happen with channels with native 1080i output or SD channels. I also don't see a problem when those channels are broadcasting news or sports.
The tuner is connected to a philips rear projection tv that can only accept 1080i or 480p input via DVI or component-videio. It is defnitely the issue with the tuner because the tuners in my dvd-r and other tv (both internal) don't show that issue and when I checked this tuner with the other tv (1080p display; can take 720p or 1080i), I see the same problem.
The tuner is connected to the cable input.
Did anyone see this problem or know a possible solution for it?
