I have a problem with my samsung LED DLP rear projection tv. I was watching a show and the tv picture went black. I turned it off and back on and it flashed a dim light 2 times and went black again also when I turned it on the green light on the front labeled LED flashed about 6 times when it was working it flashed 3 times a I would have a picture but now it just flashes 6 time and goes out. I dont know for sure but I think the LED bulb is good because I pulled the back of the tv and turned the tv on and the bulb lights up but the light is dim. I think it might be a bad ballast. If someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Boy those LED models are very difficult to DIY diagnose/repair. Strongly suggest at least get a tech diagnosis.

I think that i might do that. but first i think i will try to see how many volts the bulb needs to light up and test it with a multimeter and see if i have a power supply issue. thanks for the info i greatly appreciate it.

OK I tried filing a complaint with the BBB re: Samsung. They told me to direct my complaint to the state office of consumer protection or something like that, and said they won't handle it. Does anyone have a basic copy of the letter they sent to the BBB? I think I complained too much lol. Thanks in advance.
