Has anyone had this problem? One of mine is eating discs and now will not load up any disc?

Any ideas?

Long standing issue with these units, primarily the silver ones.

I thought I had read that somewhere here.... arg.

So the black ones seem to have had some minor changes to improve this?

I've had a silver unit for many years now that has worked flawlessly, but I bought 2 from ebay sellers and both of these have demonstrated this problem as I've added more discs. Same type of deep scratch on the outer 1/3 of the disc.
