So I just replaced the board in my 50" DLP because of the white dots issue. I also took the time to replace the bulb.

So now I have these two/three white "reflection" circles on the screen. You can ONLY see them when the screen is very dark and/or black.

I have no idea what it is, but it must be related to my bulb and DMD board replacement.

Or is this yet a new problem? Thanks!

What size? Always in same location? Can you post pics? If you enter service mode and change hor/vert position do the dots move also or remain in same location?

About 3" around. Perfect circle.

I went back to my OLD bulb and they are gone. So it was the bulb.

Maybe a fingerprint?

So your new bulb showed them, but your old bulb did. Have you tried your new bulb again and see if it still does this. My TV is doing hte same thing, but i still have the orignal bulb in there. TV is only 8 months old.

Did you ever figure out the problem. I have the problem as well and im just gonna call samsung. But i am wondering if you, or Anyone else knows what could cause this so i know what to expect. thanks
