I have a SONY KDF-42WE655 and would like the procedure to check my lamp life or lamp hours. I heard there is a way to use the remode and enter the service code to read the hours used.

I have had this set for almost 5 years now.

FIVE YEARS! It's time for a new lamp. Getting lamp hours is a pain on Sony, it's deep in the service menu, more dangerous for an end user than it's worth.

Thanks for the advice, I actually have the replacement lamp. Just wanted to see how much mileage was on the other one.
