Hello all….first post here.

I’ll be buying a Panasonic TC-P58V10 very soon and I’m in the planning stages at the moment.

I’ve narrowed my mount choices down to either a Peerless SA760PU or an OmniMount UCL-X. Similar prices with the Peerless being a little more expensive.

My mounting area is a nook area above my gas fireplace and is recessed about 10” from the main wall. Because of this the TV will always be extended at least 10”.

Will the mount constantly being extended pose any kind of issues with either of the above mounts?

They both seem very well built and I’m assuming it’s not an issue but thought I’d check first.

Right now my main choice is the Peerless because the installation instructions are much better as opposed to the OmniMount. The OmniMount instructions leave a lot to be desired.

Any major advantages of one over the other? Cable routing, ease of use, etc?

Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice.

I used a Peerless mount before. Never again.
I know it's not one of your choices but an installer friend of mine says Sanus are the easiet and best to work with.
Just passin' it along.
