One HT joint steers me toward Panny, another one toward Runco.
Obviously, they don't carry each other's respective brands
By the time I need to make my decision, remaining Pio plasmas would most likely be cleared out.
I understand Runco uses Panny pro grade plasmas which it bundles with a controller packing proprietary technologies.
As a side note, I never met a Panny pro panel I disliked.
The dealer stocking Panny Premier has no floor model to show me.
Whereas the Runco one presumably does. Though it's gonna be an hour long schlep to reach him.
So far I'm leaning toward the Premier line purely on price which in my particular situation matters even more as I'll have to purchase not one but three new sets.
BTW, does anybody know if Panny pro panels are assembled in Japan ?
So far as I know their mainstream models found @ B&M stores come from Mexico.
