I am looking to order posters from movieposter.com and frames from Frame USA. I am buying 7 and want to keep a uniform look. None of the posters are the exact same size. The average is 26.5"x38.5", some are a tad smaller, some a tad bigger. Would you go with 27"x39" frames? I am looking at the cororate frames from frame usa.

I ordered the 27x40 size and they fit great. I believe that is the correct size for the newer posters.

Depends: if you have actual movie theater posters then 27 x 40 but if you have reproduction prints then 24 x 36. Whatever it is buy it from Michaels for less than $30 on sale or with a coupon in the Sunday paper.
All 10 of my poster frames are 27 x 40. I bought them from Michaels at $10 a frame. I don't know if they still sell them that cheap. The last one I bought from them, was a year ago. At the time, every other week, they would have them on sell for that price. Walmart sells them at a reasonable price also.

Something else to keep in mind is that almost all double-sided posters are 27 x 40. If you plan on adding any backlit frames in the future and want to keep the frame sizes fairly consistent, stick with 27 x 40.

Recent posters may be 27x40 but that's the reprint size for originals from the 1980s and earlier which should be 27x41.
