I have a Daewoo DSJ-4710CRA Projection TV HD with STK392-020 IC modules. They might need replacing.
The user convergence digital adjustment has a problem. The blue crosshair alignment image is narrow in the horizontal direction compaired to the vertical direction. The left and right sides are bowed inwards - blue.
When replacing the STK392-020 are there any issues like discharging voltage from the board or components. Also are there any other parts that should be replaced while the Ic's are change out? And finally is it likely that a full grid pattern will be needing adjustment after replacing the parts?
Please someone help.
