I've searched all over this forum, and I guess I'm just missing it, but I can't seem to find any help with this. Also, I would have placed this post in the thread for this model, except I can't find it.

OK, enough disclaimers, so I have had this DLP for a little over 2 years and one day the picture goes out, but the sound continued to play. I cycled the power to see if it was a minor quirk, but no such luck.

The TV tried to boot up 3 times before it failed and started 3 lights blinking. Great, needs a new lamp, I thought. So I researched it and ordered a new bulb. It finally arrived yesterday, and I proceeded to install it. Everything went smoothly installation wise. Plugged it in and the problem persisted.

I'm totally lost at this point. I plan on calling a repair person as a last resort, and a new TV is out of the question at this time. Anyone have a similar experience, or happen to know what the next logical step would be?
