Has anyone used the item 2110 or 2804 hdmi 50 foot cables on the AE3000 or AE4000. Would either one work fine?

I use the 22 guage model in 45" and 75" lengths. I use an equalizer at the end of the long one. Work fine.

I use the 2804 to my receiver and then a 12' to my hd65. I also have hooked it straight up to projector no problems

50 feet is really pushing it with any cable. I would suggest that you use an equalizer if you are going to use over a 35' cable. You could always return the equalizer if you don't need it to Monoprice.

How does the equalizer work? Does it work with ac power?

I use the 50 ft HDMI Tin-Plated Copper CL2 Rated Cable (22AWG)(Gold Plated Connectors) from Monoprice and have had zero problems. There is even an hdmi switcher in the mix and the picture and sound in my bedroom LCD have not been effected, no eq was necessary. Look at the reviews there as well, I can't imagine any problems. Hook it up before you run the wire in the walls, if you are worried.

I am using this cable for a 50ft run and it works well when combined with my Monoprice powered splitter and the AE3000 (getting my new 4000 today). Without the signal boost from the splitter, the 3000 was missing the reds for some reason.

Also, I have occasional lip sync issues with my blu-rays which are usually resolved with a brief rewind, but no issues with my hd-dvds.

The cable is a steal at 50 bucks, and heavy as hell.

Thanks for all the replies

One more question, does it make a big difference that my HDMI cable is 6 years old compared to an HDMI cable made now? Because if it doesn't i will try to just add an equalizer.
