I am currently having my basement finished. I've designed to main living area to be multi purpose.

Here's a pic of the basement showing where the screen will be:

My screen is motorized and will slide down in front of the plasma. My main seating area is approx. 9.5 feet ( from front of screen to the human eye ). My ceiling height is 91". I have approx. 21 feet to play with from the front of the screen to the back of the room.

I need help determining how low to place the projector ( I can either have the contractor build me a shelf or I can purchase a mount ) and how far from the front of the screen to place the projector.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If I've placed this question in the wrong forum, please indicate where I should move it to.

Thank you

Aaron

sxrd lcos...whatever, same thing different name. You should have lens shift/picture shift with this thing. 12ft would be the midpoint for a 100 in screen. That puts it about 4ft behind seating area. That should be fine. I imagine ceiling mounted with lens about 7-10in down.
