I am going to be purchasing a projector for the first time, but despite researching it a bit I still need some advice.

I have a budget of $2,000 in a room that suffers from daylight. However, I work in retail and have not watched a movie in 'daylight' yet this year. In fact, I only see it being used once or twice a week.

I like the anti-judder look of certain HDTVs. The style that many feel is 'fake' and looks as if it was filmed with a HD camcorder.

It seems none of the projectors I've looked at can output at 1080p/120, so I'm expecting most of the films I watch to be in the same 3:2 as 1080p/60 HDTV with judder galore. Is this accurate?

I am looking at the Panasonic AE4000U and the Mitsubishi HC6800, but I am open to other models.

The AE4000U interests me because of it's mode 3 which seems to have the anti-judder style I enjoy in HDTVs. Is this accurate?

Thank you in advance to anyone who reads and advises this humble noob.

You will be thrilled with any of those purchases and no...the image will not shake around. For ambient light I would suggest an Epson...$1400 for the new 8100 model which is so hot right now that first batches have sold out. It has high output for brighter rooms. The a4000 thread is where you need to be reading if you are interested. Imagine a 100...110 in screen. We're talking 9 or 10 ft diagonal. Go for it. A couple films a week is about my average. I owned a pj for about 4 yrs and logged in about 1000 hrs in that time...same rate at which you say you will be viewing material. That means it will be a decade before you need a new lamp for it :)
