Im looking to mount my Samsung A550 37" on this mount, but Im afraid the powercord will not let the TV sit flat against the wall.

I plan to install a recessed outlet behind the TV, and i'll need to order a new right angle power cord. But, where does the 1.5 ft of power cord sit (shortest i can find)?

Any other really slim mount recomendations?

You might try posting on the correct forum above for your set tech(I assume this is an LCD set) as more people there will have one installed and can tell you what they saw.

I have never seen your Samsung set, but I have installed a couple of Samsung Plasmas and a few Panasonics and all of them have the cord coming down from inside a recessed area. This keeps the cord from sticking out and gives you a place to shove the extra. Hopefully your set is similar.

I just installed a Panasonic 32 inch LCD on a bracket that literally is about a half inch deep and it was fine just using a recessed outlet. I thought about going with a right angle plug, but it was not needed. You may have to be a little more careful about the location of your outlet though. I used a right angle antenna connector as well as a right angle hdmi.

I also had to have my wife hook the cords up while I held the set before I then slid it onto the bracket as there was no way to get behind it at all once it was on teh bracket.
