We need to start this thread to keep all the info here rather than searching around. I have a Panny 4000 being delivered tomorrow and can't wait to report on it. Hopefull others will let us know about their units.

And you gotta love that not only do people start threads about stuff that is like 1000000 pages long already, but they all claim it's the "Official" thread, as if it was started by Panasonic themselves.

Two hints for a possibly effective "official" thread replacement strategy:

Create a damn useful first post that contains everything known and discussed thus far in an easily digestible format with lots of links to external sources of information.
Be willing to update the first post with new information on a weekly basis for at least the next year until the replacement model arrives.

It's true that there are several threads going regarding this projector but every one of them has a distinct purpose. This one seems be devoted to punishing those who start even more threads on the same projector. :D

I admire the OP for attempting to bring order where there is none. This projector with high performance and a low price point has brought chaos. Let's just ride this wave to the beach. Enjoy the chaos and enjoy shopping the threads for info. I know I do!

I admit he may have went about it the wrong way. But the other thread became useless. 80% of the posts were the same:

Relax, Austin, it's a public forum. I only see 2 posts "criticizing" you and a couple (including mine) meant to get a laugh or two. TheSensFan makes a good point - every thread seems to be overrun with the same general info (or lack thereof), which makes finding the technical info some are looking for much harder. What you're seeing is the frustration of certain members due to the lack of organization regarding the info on this projector.

So moderator, please remove this thread and make all those snobs happy. Don't sweat this. I've been hanging out in these forums for a couple of years. some folks you will get along with. Others not so much. You will find a niche that works for you.

This thread is about the Projector not the person who created it ...give the poor guy a break and lets move the F*** on already man! Please lets talk about what people think about this projector and some tweaking posts! Enuff with the BS. :mad:

I was able to see an immeadiate upgrade from my sanyo z3000, i have wallpaper on my ps3 of my daughter with the sanyo it loked grainey and very digital, with this projector it looks definately smoother (less grainey) and more "picture" like.
