I've been lurking and reading threads and doing TV comparison's for quite a while, but my first post. Ok so after hours and hours and days and weeks of research I had finally settled on getting a Sharp Aquos 52" for the living room. Bestbuy had the D65 priced cheap and bang for your buck it couldn't be beat. Walk in today and wow BB no longer carries the Sharp in a 52"! Matter of fact they dont have much of jacksquat from Sharp period.

Ok so now I'm in a hurt. I dont have to buy from BestBuy, can do Amazon or anyone else that does same as cash financing. Do I have the money sitting in the acount to buy outright? Yes, but with X-Mas coming I would rather not, so before anyone says it or mention yes I know there are better deals out there.

Ok so I'm looking in the 52-55" range and in the $1500-$1700ish price range. Max would be $18,1900 or so. Must be from somewhere, Amazon, Sears, BB, etc... that have same as cash financing.

Prefer LCD as the living room is your average bright room and am wary of Plasma's and the glare issue, although I've always questioned it. The room is your regular brightness. No window directly behind it and has 2 windows on the side of the room that have window sheers and drapes. Always kinda wondered what people considered "bright" for a plasma to be not a good choice as I would wonder how many people have LR's that have no windows or blacked out windows, lol. Why even design a product that can't be enjoyed in a regular room?

The only reason I'm asking for help is because I'm planning on buying this week and don't have the time to research every TV on Amazon and bestbuy from all the brands and find the best that suits. The other thing in my mind is buying from BB at least you have somewhere to take it back to vs amazon.

Anyways any help appreciated. TIA.
