Looking on ebay.....
What is this thing?
It's Ultra cheap, looking at it as a temp setup/outdoor projector... but they don't say what brand it is.

I would avoid that like the plague...Hong Kong. Better to buy a used 720p for about same price if you are going that route.

Not sure what brand it is, but you get what you pay for. The native resolution on that thing isn't even 480i/p, and the shipping is about 25% of the price of the projector. I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole.

I wonder if it's an inorganic panel...

Thanks.
....figured as much, but also though someone might come back with, "oh yeah, that's a rebranded xxx model that rocks!" ....... but like I figured... :)
Looking now for el cheapo used ones, but also researching bulb prices before getting anything. See an old office projector for $50.... and then find the cheapest bulb online to be $300 ......
I wonder if it has DC4 :)

single 5" LCD, that says it all..... I had a 25lb 1998 infocus with a single 7 1/2" LCD it would have made a great boat anchor.. new $9000 bought and sold for $25 now.. guess I should have painted the numbers 1080 on the side.. could have gotten $26 for it!:D
Kind of reminds me of the big screen projector ads way back when for 20 bucks. They were actually peddling a big magnifying glass you would put in front of your TV. Some poor saps must of bought into it as the ads were around for a decade or better.
Oh if you had bought one these things in the 80's, no offence intended :)
